Petroglyphs Provincial Park is the site of the largest concentration of aboriginal rock art in Canada. Nine hundred symbolic carvings of humans, objects and animals were carved between 600 and 1100 years ago into a single slab of marble. Cherished and utilized like an ancient photo gallery, elders would remove protective moss and use the rocks to introduce new generations to the story of the Ojibway people. The “Teaching Rocks” are a very physical reminder that Canada’s cultural history stretches back further, and is far richer, than is often given credit for.

Bon Echo Provincial Park is a provincial park in South Eastern Ontario north of Kaladar, Ontario, approximately 6 kilometres north of Cloyne. Bon Echo features several lakes, including part of Mazinaw Lake, the second-deepest lake in Ontario.

Drawing on the adventurous tradition of sled dog racing, Marmora SnoFest celebrates a love of dogs, sport and community. SnoFest continues to be a destination for stellar sled dog racing and skijoring, attracting world-class competitors from Canada and beyond, and offers programming to entertain the whole family.

Our 45 horses and ponies are family members first, and have been with us for many years.  Some as long as 9 to 24 years. They all enjoy being on the trail as you will see when you arrive because we do our best to ensure they enjoy the ride as much as you will! Therefore, we do things a little different than most riding facilities. 

The historians at the Marmora Historical Foundation have put together some mini road trips for visitors to see the rural area of Marmora and Lake. These beautiful drives are a must see on a lazy Sunday afternoon (or any day for that matter).

Enjoy a wonderful experience while exploring the 85 acre Conservation Area which includes fifteen pioneer buildings, beautiful flower and vegetable gardens, nature trails, sheltered picnic areas and alovely mill pond with its stone dam and covered bridge.

Five of the original 11 pioneer buildings occupy the site along with additional buildings to represent the lifestyle of the past. These buildings have been restored by dedicated craftspeople and volunteers for the enjoyment of everyone and particularly for those who value the importance of preserving our heritage.

If you don’t have a boat, this is the best way to see the beautiful Crowe Lake and Beaver Creek in Marmora. This is an experience you should not miss when you are visiting Marmora and Lakes. Perfect customer service by the boat captain Doug who is very knowledgeable about the local area. 

Nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts now have a new reason to visit Nayler’s Common Wetlands and Trails in Marmora. Thanks to the initiative of the Marmora and Lake Environmental Advisory Committee, the leadership and expertise of Curtis Trimble, Manager of Parks and Recreation, and the financial support of the Toronto Dominion Bank’s Friends of the Environment Foundation, the Commons now boasts a new observation platform that overlooks the marsh.

Camping at Booster Park in Ontario is a recreation site. You can go to the site with your friend & Family and end enjoy  Camping, Fishing, Swimming, Boating, Canoeing, Hiking opportunities. The view of the lake, the sounds of the boats, birds chirping, kids playing near by it’s a great outdoor recreation site. The kids having a good time on the air mattress.
